Coming into this week the Monsoons needed two wins to claim a share of the Suburban League title. The difficult one was Tuesday’s road win over the previously undefeated Cerritos. Thursday’s game against John Glenn on senior night was more of a formality as Mayfair rolled to a 56-19 win over the Eagles to tie Cerritos at 11-1 for the co-championship.

Several seniors made their mark in one last regular season home game. Kaylin Dent scored 15 points and had 6 rebounds. Jada Sims added 7 points, her second highest total of the season. Naana Ahinasi provided a balanced effort with five points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Sophomore Ayah League was the other Monsoon in double figures with 10 points.

Mayfair will now away their playoff matchup.
