Competing for the second time in three days at Cerritos Regional Park, members of the Mayfair cross country teams took advantage of good racing conditions and solid competition to post several personal records at the Bell Gardens Invitational. Mayfair Varsity Leo Clubs took some time to serve in Compton on Saturday. They painted at a residence through The Compton Initiative. Monsoon defense controls Artesia

In a matchup between two teams just a step behind La Mirada for first in the Suburban League, the rushing attacks of the Mayfair Monsoons and the Artesia Pioneers figured to highlight the game. However, it was Mayfair who controlled the game on both the offensive and defensive lines en route to a 37-7 victory.

Volleyball victorious again

With another sweep, this time against the John Glenn Eagles, the Monsoon girls volleyball team has moved to 19-2 overall and a perfect 10-0 in Suburban League play. The Mayfair cross country teams competed Thursday at the second Suburban League Meet at Cerritos Regional Park. The Mayfair girls volleyball team continued their run through Suburban League play with a sweep of the La Mirada Matadors.
